Crime Thriller|Scripted * X 45’
Pimpri is the story of a side-lined generation reclaiming their place in a nation’s narrative. Pimpri – Chinchwad is an industrial hub that exists on the unsurpassable fault-line of class and the teenage gangs run its underbelly, one social media post at a time. The lens is a coming-of-age story of three brothers Aditya Kosare (21), Thingya (16), and Rinku (13). Orphaned early, Aditya is the only parental figure the boys have and they grew up surrounded by the boy-gangs of Pimpri. They are inseparable, loyal, and aggressively protective of each other. Aditya’s only desire is to rise above the crabs in a basket mentality of the slum and protect his brothers from a pre-decided fate as boy-gangsters. When destiny prevents Aditya from achieving his goal of becoming a cop and getting out of Pimpri, the brothers turn to crime, and transform the criminal landscape of Pimpri, forever.
