The 55th International Film Festival of India (IFFI) kicked off with a musical bang, screening the Australian biopic “Better Man.” Directed by Michael Gracey, the film is a heartfelt tribute to the life and music of British pop icon Robbie Williams.
The IFFI red carpet was graced by the film’s cast and crew, including producer Paul Currie and actress RaechelleBanno. During a pre-screening interaction, Currie highlighted the film’s focus on Robbie’s personal journey, rather than his public persona. Banno expressed her excitement to be part of the festival, stating, “IFFI holds great significance for me.” In a video message, director Michael Gracey acknowledged the influence of Bollywood cinema on his work.
