The Toronto International Film Festival (TIFF) is set to captivate the night owls and cult film enthusiasts with its iconic Midnight Madness programme, presented by Intrepid Travel. This year’s lineup promises a wild ride through action, horror, fantasy, and the bizarre, featuring ten films, including five World Premieres, and will kick off with the North American Premiere of Coralie Fargeat’s highly anticipated horror thriller The Substance, starring Demi Moore.
The Midnight Madness programme is known for its late-night screenings at the historic Royal Alexandra Theatre, which is rumored to be haunted, adding an extra layer of excitement for attendees. The films showcased in this programme are celebrated for their unique blend of shock, fantasy, and the surreal, making them a favorite among festivalgoers looking for unconventional and provocative cinema.
