From AI-powered tablets to smart writing tools, the Innovate2Educate finalists are gamifying how India learns.
Who says gaming and education don’t mix? The Innovate2Educate: Handheld Device Design Challenge, curated by the Indian Digital Gaming Society (IDGS), has turned young coders and tinkerers into ed-tech trailblazers. Out of 1856 registered ideas, 10 finalists have emerged with designs that could revolutionize the way Indian children learn—especially in underserved areas.
Whether it’s Karnata Parva’s voice-assisted tablet, Tech Titans’ smart handwriting device, or Protominds’ adaptive AI-powered EduSpark, each prototype is designed with accessibility, affordability, and impact in mind.

One standout—Warriors’ Maha-Shastra—even leverages LoRa mesh networks to enable collaboration without the internet.
Set to debut at WAVES 2025, these devices promise a radical rethink of screen-time, gamified learning, and digital inclusion.

With support from education-tech veterans and industry leaders, the challenge reaffirms WAVES’ belief in cross-sector innovation—where play and pedagogy can meet, for real-world transformation.
