Synopsis
Marginal people of Sundarban, there Moti has many dreams that are too elusive for her. she is low cast lady,very lonely and use to portrayed character of queen on village jatra on stage. She chose to marry higher cast Bramhin Hori but villagers wanted to drive them away. But she did not leave the village at all. Moti practically bonded with the river of this village as a woman. Her name is Dansa, Moti befriends with her.
Moti’s dreams of an alternative survival. She used to catch the shrimp from the river by hand-net to live her living hood. Once she found a baby girl on the river. she seems her companion Dasa gifts her a dream. However, that daughter never being her companion, she elopes from the villager. Everyone was against Moti’s living hood. Moti resist all obstacles, she dream with her roots.

The protagonist Moti chose a journey against the trend, other hand the larger world going for a better life. She is rooted much deeper with the river and soil.
People of Sundarban are facing natural and economical threats. Since all go to cities for better opportunity, family structure is being destroyed and separated. They are very unfortunate social human being. Moti chooses one another alternative dreams of living. She trusts her land, soil, river and nature. She believes that something will happen from here. In fact, she enjoys the illusive relationship with Mother Nature, the mundane connection that no one can find today, as people are living uprooted. The experienced society always made her think she should not be here. Sometimes they torture her, but she stayed in this village with her illusory faith, actually lives in her surreal bliss.
